Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep bright dark red hue. Aromas of liquorice and dark plum meld into some smoky cedar scents with traces of dried meats and blackpepper ensuing. Medium bodied, there's good richness to the dark plum and liquorice fruits which sit over back drop of smoky cedar, fennel, traces of meatiness and blackpepper. Finely grained tannins support the refined mouthfeel. Finishes with good freshness, solid length and an aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice, smoky vanillin cedar, dried meats and blackpepper.
