Nugan Estate sources the grapes for the Frasca's Lane Chardonnay from Victoria's cool climate wine region King Valley. As soon as the winemaking team pick the grapes, they gently press them. The fruit for this wine will go through harvest during March. The grapes will then endure a long, cool fermentation in stainless steel vats & French oak barrels. The wine is left to mature in French oak for 12 months, where the team will batonage monthly. And they do this to add complexity and enhance fruit and oak integration, prior to final blending and bottling.
