When a young Alfredo Nugan emigrated from Spain in 1940, he had a clear vision of his family's new life in Australia. Today, his legacy sees the Nugan family established as one of Australia's most successful agricultural enterprises. This limited release collection of premium wines is a tribute to his vision and the passion he instilled in his family to pursue his ideals of outstanding quality and service.

The Passo Appassimento is sourced from premium vineyards in the Riverina. A parcel of the dried grape shiraz was used to create flavour, intensity and concentration. After fermentation the wine matured in French and American oak for 18 months resulting in a handcrafted wine of quality. Intense aromas of black cherry and prune entwined with sweet tobacco, cedar and dark chocolate undertones are followed by rich, generous flavours of plum compote and Morello cherry, lashings of bitter chocolate, fnish with plush, silky tannins.
