It’s a rare and ancient varietal grown in France’s Rhone Valley, the Languedoc and Catalonia, Spain, in tiny quantities. It also pairs magnificently with seafood. This edition offers an explosion of lemon sherbet, lemon zest, hints of tinned tropical fruits, white blossoms, honeysuckle, and green apple. There’s minerality and salinity lurking too.
