Since 1816, this single malt has been celebrated for its strong smoke and seaweed aromas, backed by a nutty complexity and light fruitiness. A traditional and highly sought-after single malt with a peaty character typical of southern Islay malts. Showing typically bold Islay characters including; sweet earthy and smoky notes. On the palate, you'll again find trademark salty iodine flavours that give way to a delicious spicy toasty vanilla finish. Have it with dark chocolate to complement a dessert, or best enjoyed over ice.
