This particular malt is the first ever Glenfiddich malt to be matured in two different casks; 6 to 8 years in traditional casks and then 4 to 6 years in Sherry casks. The result is a palate of zingy sherbet, which slowly turns to spicy and tempting flavours of plum and cherry with hints of toasted almonds and wedding cake.
