A much loved single malt, Cardhu is an easygoing, charming Speysider. With clean, crisp oak and sweet malt evoking flavours of honeyed crepes and homemade caramel squares, this is one for the sweet-toothed among you. Aroma, good body, decent sweetness, richness. Streaks of smoke, apple peels, bruised pears. The palate is smooth, and rounded, with gentle sweetness, and soft peat. A little smoke whispers sweet nothings. Finish, long, dry smoke, malty touch of peat.
