Another Gelas Bas Armagnac finished in casks that previously held Australia's famous sweet white, De Bortoli 'Noble One'. Generally recognised as the pinnacle of Australian sweet winemaking, it tends to be richer and sweeter than examples from Sauternes. Beautiful Golden Colour, with orange reflections. A nose of confit apricot, sweet liquorice on a wooded finale. The mouth is frank and powerful, very oily on dried fruit and prunes. Residual aromas confirm the nose.
