This represents Vietti's most accessible Barolo, drawing its fruit from numerous MGA sites across the region. The Barolo Castiglione is a complex, generously crafted wine that truly reflects the remarkable qualities of this highly successful vintage. Unlike wines from single vineyards, Castiglione doesn't highlight a specific terroir but rather underscores the overall excellence of the vintage itself. It unveils opulent richness, concentrated cherry flavours, and a deep, velvety texture derived from the Nebbiolo grapes' thicker skins in this exceptional year. The finale carries a subtle saline mineral touch, adding precision and refinement to the experience. 100% Nebbiolo.
Product of Piedmont, Italy.
ABV: 14.5%
Size: 750ml Bottle
