A tawny red with a topaz meniscus. Scents of fresh fruit (grapes and cherries) are enriched by the aromas of dried fruit and toast from maturation in small wooden casks, known as "pipes". The wine displays a fine balance of youth and maturity. Fresh fruit flavours covering the whole gamut (grapes, cherries, plums, blackberries and raspberries) combine harmoniously with the spirit, creating an impression of mellow lightness.
