Polmos Spirytus Rektyfikowany is a high-proof Polish pure spirit that is made from a blend of grain and potato-based neutral spirits. It has a very high alcohol content, typically around 96% alcohol by volume. The name "rektyfikowany" refers to the rectification process that is used to purify and concentrate the spirit. The spirit is clear in color and has a strong, fiery taste that is not for the faint of heart. It is commonly used as a base for other alcoholic drinks, such as liqueurs, or as an ingredient in cocktails.
