This is pure Coonawarra, showing plenty of class. Cassis and blackcurrants are inflected with tobacco, mint and woodsy spices. It's more medium bodied, very fresh and lively. Tannins are pitch-perfect – ripe, savoury and slightly grainy. It feels nicely polished, but not fabricated.
