Nero d'Avola is a wine grape that is native to the Italian town of Avola, located on the island of Sicily. Bright red with a ruby hue. Lifted florals, red currants, black cherry and pomegranate at the fore with nuances of Italian herbs. The medium bodied palate is bright and fresh with flavours of mulberry, raspberry and cherry cola, beautifully balanced acidity, providing great length and finishing with fine savoury tannins.
