Cookoothama Darlington Point Shiraz
Cookoothama ("cook-a-tharma") vineyard is situated on the banks of the Murrumbidgeee River. It is the original name of this property meaning "fragile land". The hands on the Cookoothama label pay tribute to the pioneers who have lived and cultivated the land spread out along the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, transforming it into the prosperous, fertile land it is today. Appealing aromas of plum layered with dark chocolate and spice, a full bodied red wine with a rich, concentrated palate of juicy dark berries entwined with mocha, black pepper and earth with well-integrated oak and velvety tannins.
