Stonier Pinot Noir
Stonier Pinot Noir is sourced from a select group of hand tended vineyards located amongst the rolling hill of the Mornington Peninsula. The Peninsula's unique geography and cool maritime conditions contribute to a highly distinctive expression of Pinot Noir, typically showing flavours of cherry to savoury plum with a fine tannin structure.
Our hand-picked Pinot Noir grapes were fermented in small open fermenters, followed by maturation in French oak barrels for up to 9 months, with a portion also matured in tank. Minimal handling during maturation with only a small quantity of new oak has ensured the preservation of the delicate and bright fruit flavours that are so intrinsic to Stonier Pinot Noir.
