The small team at Lawson's Dry Hills lives and breathes these wines. From nurturing the grapes through every aspect of the winemaking process, pouring a shared passion into every bottle.

Produced from the Waihopai Valley vineyard and the adjacent Barnsley block. These sites grow beautiful parcels of fruit that produce expressive wines with depth and finesse. In the winery, small batch fermentation and maturation in a mixture of new and seasoned French oak barriques allows the maximization of the potential of these sites. This Pinot Noir is richly aromatic, showing ripe red berry and cherry characters complemented by sweet, spicy oak notes. The palate is opulent with soft ripe tannins and great concentration that together produce a powerful, elegant wine.
