The Wizard Pinot represents the peak of wine production at Holm Oak, The Wizard Pinot is named after a tennnis racket produced by the Alexander Patent Racket Co. in Launceston in the 1930s. The previous owner of what is now Holm Oak was involved in the attempted production of trees for the manufacture of these rackets. Whisly unsuccessful in his entrepreneurial spirit.
