A strong, fruity red with a soft, almost sweet tannin structure made from 100% dried grapes. With the Appassimento 100x100, DeConti has achieved a great success, which is in line with the taste trend of the time and is a great pleasure for lovers of intense, fruity red wines with little tannins. Appassimento (translated roughly as "drying") is an increasingly common method of wine production in Italy, in which the grapes are dried for several weeks in special storage rooms after harvesting and almost become raisins. The liquid evaporates and the aromas intensify significantly. The Primitivo grape is particularly suitable for this process and ensures great fullness and fruitiness in the taste. To achieve a good balance, DeConti added the popular and suitable Apulian Negroamaro and Sangiovese grape varieties to the cuvée.
