In 1970 Brokenwood wines purchased land set to become a cricket ground. Although they thoroughly enjoy cricket, they planted vines instead.

Brokenwood was among the first in AUstralia to master the art of blending in order to achieve a consistent, harmonious style. This wine is drawn from vineyards predominantly in NSW, the typicaly aromatics of Sauvignon Blanc complements the citrus freshness of the Semillon producing a clean and zesty 'drink now' style.  Great with chicken and Asian.
