Nant was the first Tassie highland distillery to offer premium single malt whisky. Their releases are aged in small casks to speed maturation and impart the maximum amount of flavour possible. Nant Bourbon cask is aged in cut-down American Oak bourbon barrels giving it a full rich flavour and warm creamy texture. To the nose, it is welcoming with aromas of fresh herbs, honey, and fruit. On the palate, it is slightly oily with apricots, bananas, barley, mandarin oranges, and plenty of herbal notes all well balanced against each other. Nant Bourbon Cask has a medium finish that isn't overly dry and leaves more herbal notes, barley, and sweet pineapple lingering on the tongue.
