Audrey Wilkinson Chardonnay
The Wilkinson's were pioneers of the Hunter Valley, planting their first vines in 1866. The Hunter wine region is widely regarded as the birthplace of Australian winemaking and is renowned for its medium bodied reds and classic white wines.
The 2018 vintage was the earliest on record and delivered near perfect ripening conditions with the fruit being sourced from selected Chardonnay blocks from across the Hunter Valley.
This wine is pale yellow in colour and displays flavours of fresh white peach and guava balanced by a refreshing crisp acidity and subtle use of French oak to add structure and complexity.
