Sourced from some of the finest parcels of fruit across the Barossa, the Cameron Vale Cabernet Sauvignon is a pure expression of the high quality fruit and wine of the region.
This Cabernet Sauvignon is named after one of the Barossa's earliest vineyards sites, a Cabernet vineyard planted by the Burge family in the early 1970s.
This fine example of full bodied Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon takes elements from the Barossa Balley floor and the higher cooler Eden Valley. The vineyards were carefully selected and harvested; the fruit was destemmed and fermented in small, static fermenters, retaining the varietal expression. Once fermentation was completed the wine was transferred into a combination of new and older French oak barrels for 18 months' maturation before bottling
This wine represents a pure expression of the variety and the region, drinking well and rewarding for those who patiently cellar for up to 10 years.
